Bio-remodelling injections are the first of its kind for facial and neck skin rejuvenation. Bio-remodelling is not a filler, nor is it a traditional “skin booster”. It is an injectable product containing a combination of low molecular weight and high molecular weight hyaluronic acid (without creating any additional volume). It targets multiple layers of the skin to restore firmness, tone and elasticity at levels that cannot be achieved through the application of skincare products onto the surface of the skin. Once injected under the skin it spreads in a sheet to hydrate, rejuvenate and replenish the skin. This creates improvements in texture, tone and radiance. Common Questions

The initial treatment is a series of 10 injections in strategic points just under the skin in either the lower face or neck. This is then repeated 4 weeks later. For more severe ageing changes, a 3rd treatment may be recommended.

Initially, there are small lumps under the skin at the injection points, but these resolve quite quickly over the next 1-2 days. We also recommend using the complementary Profhilo Haenkenium cream.

Maintenance treatments are then recommended at 6-12 month intervals.

Whilst it doesn’t volumise like traditional fillers, it will enhance skin texture and tone, and may slow the ageing process by stimulating collagen and elastin regeneration, and it also has a beneficial effect on fat cells, which become depleted in the face as we age.

Many start to see an improvement in their skin within a week of their treatment. The real results however won’t start to show until you are at the 6–8-week mark as this is the time that it takes for the body to start producing collagen and elastin, which is what really makes the difference in terms of results and what you see on the surface.

Most people will notice their skin “feels” better in terms of feeling smoother and more hydrated after the first 2 treatments. There may also be some initial improvement in tone and texture which continues over time.

For better and longer-lasting results, we highly recommend you have 2 bio-remodelling filler injections treatments, 4 weeks apart. The improvements to the quality of your skin, and the lifting and tightening effect, develop subtly over several weeks. While you may see an improvement immediately after the first treatment, the best results are visible around 4 weeks after the second treatment. After 8 weeks, your skin will also appear more hydrated, healthy, and youthful.

Maintenance sessions are recommended 6-12 monthly depending on the degree of correction required, your age, and lifestyle.

Bio-remodelling has no downtime and very minimal side effects. Immediately following treatment you may experience redness and slightly raise bumps at the injection sites. These typically go away within 12-48 hours.

Bruising is a potential risk with any injections.
